We planted some pumpkin seedlings along fence on the back side of our labyrinth. Some creature, perhaps a mouse, has been nibbling the beans we've planted here, so we are using the pumpkins as an experiment to see if said creature is partial to beans or if he/she will feast on whatever we plant! Natalie, a Gateway parent, planted some roses as an experiment as well!
We also did a little beautification work by spreading mulch in areas where the wind as blown it away. At the end of the day, we put on some music from many decades ago and danced to celebrate our work!
Please join us this Sunday, March 1st, for a celebration Bar BQ in the garden from 11am-2pm. We will have yummy food to eat, plants to plant and mushrooms to inoculate! We hope to see you!
