Hey everybody, and welcome back to Garden Club. It was raining all wee, but it didn't rain on the day of Garden Club, which was a very good sign. We made use of our time today as we continued working on the new garden, as well as the old garden. We split up into groups to take on this task. Half of us went to work on the new garden by planting new bean plants and seeds since we now have an effective way of watering them, and half of us went to do some maintenance on the old garden by fixing up the toppled over bricks and picking up nearby trash. Overall today was quite productive and fun. Thanks for coming for those who helped out and thanks for reading for those who are reading this post. There will be no Garden Club next week because of Thanksgiving, so we'll see you the week after. Enjoy the break!

How's everybody doing today? Welcome back to Garden Club! We started the club by talking about the plans for our new garden and other logistics. Then, we went out to our new garden and cleaned up some of the trash in the new garden (click here to learn more the new garden). Since we assembled both of our wagons last week, we were able to put them to use today. Now that we have wagons, we finally have a way to transport large amounts of water from one side of the yard to the other. This will help us significantly when it comes to watering the plants in the new garden. Finally, we spread several bags of chicken manure in our compost pile today to further enrich and prepare the soil for the new garden. With the end of Daylight Savings Time, the sun is beginning to set earlier, allowing less time for us to work. Nonetheless, we tried our best today and worked diligently. Thanks everyone for coming today and we'll see you next week. Hello everybody, and welcome back to Garden Club. Our two wagons have arrived and boy, were we excited. We basically spent the whole meeting today assembling the wagons. We got some help assembling from other students not in Garden Club, which helped speed everything up. They turned out well and are ready for use. We can now get down to business! Thanks for coming guys, and see you next week. No meeting today. Happy Halloween! Don't get a cavity!
