Hi guys. Today in Garden Club, we created a large sign that announced the groundbreaking for the new garden. We mounted it to the fence to notify the neighbors of our project. We also moved all of our homemade compost out of the new garden area in preparation for the construction that will be taking place over Spring Break. Thanks for coming today. See you after break!

Salutations everyone. Today in Garden Club we did some more maintenance in our old and new gardens. We weeded some plants, watered, and made some more new compost in preparation for the new garden. Yes, it may seem slow now, but once Spring Break rolls around, time will fly by as there will be a lot more to do! So brace yourselves folks. Thanks for coming and we'll see you next time.
Hello everyone. We apologize for the late updates recently. We've been busy trying to figure everything out a lot of things now that Spring Break is fast approaching. Today we just furthered prepared our new garden as much as we could by performing some garden maintenance and composting. We are excited for the new garden and you should be too! Thanks for coming today guys. See you next week.
Today in Garden Club, we created a bulletin board called "New Garden Plans" in the main hallway for our new garden plans. This includes a large poster of our plan for the new garden, a copy of the newsletter, and a call to join garden club, with the meeting times. We also harvested many greens including spinach, cabbage, kale green onion, and basil from our garden. We used these fresh ingredients to make an excellent pasta saute and dined "family style" in Mr. Berthiaume's room. Outside of Garden Club, Mr. Berthiaume taught his Environmental Science Class a lesson on composting. They made made two big batches of compost for the garden and two buckets of compost tea for our plants. It's great to see more people outside of Garden Club get involved with nature and the great outdoors. Thanks everyone for coming and we'll see you soon! Hello everyone, and welcome back to Garden Club. Sorry for the late post. Anyways this week was a pretty chill wee. We weeded the front entrance plantings and dug out a new planting bed at the corner of Scott St. and O'Farrell St. It was a good week overall. Thanks for everyone's hard work and we'll see you all next week.
